Thanks to Natalie (and everyone who attended her party both from the Natalie Ln neighborhood and personal friends visiting. We had a great time serving in this beautiful community. Natalie sure knows how to throw a party!! We also made a new friend, the McFeely’s Arctic Ice van who we hope we’ll see around again very soon. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend!!
A fantastic turnout at the Millvale Music Summer Picnic! It was the most people that many of us have seen come together in one place for food trucks, beer, and music since 2019. We got to see our friend Ash (Ash & Kris Kitchen and were joined by some other great vendors such as Vecenie Distributing. Hai Lee, and Tango. Great music from several bands including The Argonauts. We sold out of our Knuckle Sandwich in only a little over 2 hours but had just enough Hot Sausages, Gourmet Fries, and Nachos to hold off until the very end. Special thanks to the organizer Paul B. for having us and of course Danielle M. for getting us connected with Paul. We really had a great time and are so proud of this group of organizers for getting Pittsburgh festivities up and running as they should be again.
Soooooo much rain.. but we made it through and sold out with the help of many great neighbors of Kellywood Estates in Plum. Thanks everyone for coming! We’re looking forward to coming back twice in September. A special big thanks for Kathy for getting us connected with Jen (organizer) an equally special thanks to Jen for having us! We loved the neighborhood and all of the people that came out.
A super cool little place in a very close and familiar part of town, Acclamation Brewing sure impressed us on our first visit with the truck. First of all, they have a greater amount of outdoor seating than most breweries with twice their footprint. Secondly, both of the owners were really friendly guys, thirdly the IPA’s were almost too good tasting (they went down as if I were shot gunning cans of light beer in college), and lastly we had an impressive turnout of wonderful customers (especially for our first visit and on a week night). Thanks for having us Acclamation Brewing!
So many people, so many cars in the lot that the 900 block of the Greensburg Pike was lined with cars and then some. Congrats to Bob for owning and operating the bard for 50 years! We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank some of our most supportive folks; Stacy & Val for sharing our posts, John and Eddie for various good deeds to help out, and the entire crew that has loyally supported Jimmy even before the truck while cooking in Bob’s kitchen. We appreciate you all a ton.
