Today the Good To Go food truck made a nice little trip out to Vandergrift, PA to visit Allusion Brewing. If you’re ever in the area this is a must stop spot. Excellent beer in a really cool little brewery in small town USA. From what I’ve seen, these guys regularly have food trucks so you can probably expect food availability as well as both indoor and outdoor seating. Check out the pics below to see the brewery, the food truck posted up, and some of today’s fabulous menu.
Our first menu change-up on the truck, Gyros & Hibachi, serving up that fire. I’ve never heard so many great compliments! Thanks to our supporters at Bob’s Lounge (especially Bob himself and Eddie A for the extra help). This was our fastest sell out yet and it wasn’t because we came short with the goods. That was a major rush and while it was tough we loved it. We’ll be back to Bob’s this Thursday as “Jimmy Jam the Pizza Man” slangs his legendary Sicilian Pizzas and some Italian subs out of Bob’s Kitchen as guest chef (sorry no truck). Come in and check it out!! 6:30-8:30 or until sellout.
Sorry for the early sell out guys! We appreciate the great following of our friends and new customers alike. Thanks to Sydney and Rocco for having us for a second time in 3 days!!
It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood on Western Avenue in the North Side of Pittsburgh for our first time visiting at 412 Brewery and we wish we’d done it sooner. The IPA’s here are ideal and I’m coming back regularly get some growler fills. All of the customers were great. The owner, Rocco, and tap room manager, Sydney, are fantastic people and so we’re super excited to be heading back for brunch just two days later (4/25). Special thanks to Danielle for connecting our food truck with these guys!!
I miss this section of town dearly! This neighborhood was home and work for a couple of years in the early 2000’s. It’s also where we first met our truck and it’s previous owner. Lot’s of love of this spot, Biddle’s Escape, who I truly think has really special coffee and super nice employees. Only our second shift, we were just fill-ins for another scheduled food truck and we loved every second of serving this neighborhood in Pittsburgh’s East End our Italian Subs and Cheese Steak hoagies. It turned out to just be just a bit brisk but overall beautiful day without rain or snow for the shift. Thanks Biddle’s Escape and supporters today!!
