We’ve been busy.. sorry for the lack of updates! We’ve been serving Cheeseburger Hoagies in the South Side of Pittsburgh and Irwin’s Penns Woods community, Gyros at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, Saucy Chicken Tenders at Crabapple Pool and the Rustic Ridge neighborhood of Plum, Colossal Hot Dogs at The Home Depot, Cheese Steaks at Devout Brewing and Amplify Church among many other places over the past couple of weeks. As the menu continues to rotate, please find us at upcoming locations to sample various other entrees. Business was boomin! Pastrami Sandwiches, Cheeseburger hoagies, Cheese Steak subs, and Bacon Cheddar Fries… all gone! Thanks to Pittsburgh Smokehouse for getting us connected with this event and to the organizers and residents for your incredible support shown to our food truck here in Penns Woods, Irwin.
We didn’t just sell out of Cheese Steak, we sold out of buns!! Colossal Kielbasas, Andouille Sausages, and Italian hoagies too! It was National Fry day and we served up our fan favorite bacon cheddar fries of course and many customers couldn’t pass them up to try the new fried spicy cheese balls. Our friends at Bob’s once again showed great support on a busy night and we’re happy that our food makes you happy. Thanks to the Jacki, everyone’s favorite bar tender in the neighborhood, for making the arrangement for us to be there and posting our appearance on Facebook. Extra big thanks to Rosedale VFD for reaching out to us to come serve 2 nights at the carnival. We sold out both nights at the very end and were glad to see so many great reactions, kind compliments, and return customers.
10.7 Marina is gorgeous! It might be my favorite new place to go to feel like I’m on vacation without actually being on vacation. If a beautiful and chill setting on the river isn’t enough, East End Brewing was serving up beers, DJ Dewy was boosting the ambiance with sounds, and it appears that Kayak rentals are always available. We highly recommend exploring this riverfront location hidden in the depths of Verona. Thanks for having us 10.7, we’d love love love to come back soon!
In other happenings, it was a special day for the food truck kitchen. A long time greatest friend ever, Brady came out of his catering retirement to assist on the flat top (filling in for chef Jimmy). Dave couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks for volunteering and coming to the rescue and even blowing off your plans to do so!! Sadly, we were so incredibly busy that no photos were taken of this great night and historic appearance. Cheese Steaks sold out in record time but Colossal Bacon Cheddar Dogs and Gourmet Nachos filled the void. Thanks for the support!
